Spring Fever!

Hi,

This is my favorite time of year. Spring is a time of rebirth. Flowers are coming into bloom and the birds are building nests and waiting for eggs to hatch. On the 29th of April we will celebrate the wedding of our first grandson. David Anthony joined the Air Force not too long ago and is finishing up the last part of his training in Texas. He has been assigned to a base in North Dakota, which made me happy until I learned he will be going to Iraq, spending three months there then returning home for awhile before going back. So please keep him and his new wife in your prayers.

What is so cool (as my grandchildren would say. By the way I have eleven.) is that David A will be in uniform for his wedding. So both his father and grandfather will be also, three generations in Air Force uniforms. Look for some great pictures to be up at this site.

I'm adding a picture of my book cover for my second book that will be out in June. It's called Joshua's Faith. It deals with diabetes as part of the plotline. The other picture you will see is of my granddaughter Samantha. In Joshua's Faith, the young daughter is also Samantha, a character based off of our Samantha. The book is dedicated to her and all those who deal each day with diabetes.
